photo of Beau Keyte, LTG partner   Beau Keyte has pioneered the use of lean concepts and techniques in service industries and manufacturing front offices for nearly 20 years. His recent work in healthcare collaboratives reshaped how primary care clinics, hospitals, and post-acute care organizations approach improving patient and financial outcomes. As a lean coach he helps clients align their improvements efforts with the strategic direction of their organization. He co-authored The Complete Lean Enterprise: Value-stream mapping for administrative and office processes, a recipient of the Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing Research.
   Beau holds a MBA and an BSE from the University of Michigan.

 

photo of Jim Luckman, LTG partner   Jim Luckman has on-the-ground experience leading lean transformations as a Plant Manager, a Director of an R&D Center, and a CEO of a small start-up company. He has significant experience in strategic planning, engineering and manufacturing including adopting lean manufacturing principles for lean development and lean engineering. His current efforts include leadership coaching, application of lean in R&D and application of lean to software development.
   Jim holds a Masters in Computer Engineering from Case Western University and a BS-Electrical Engineering from Tri State University.

 

photo of Karl Ohaus, LTG partner   Karl Ohaus has used lean tools and techniques to help client companies create process flow, improve operational performance and better address the needs of the value stream to improve financial performance. As its president, he led the transformation of an automotive parts supplier to lean manufacturing. His coaching stresses the importance of management development and employee engagement for a successful change to a lean enterprise.
   Karl holds a BS-Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.

 

photo of Tom Shuker, LTG partner   Tom Shuker has promoted the application of lean principles and tools in non-manufacturing settings, particularly health care and government. Projects include the University of Michigan Health System and Massachusetts General Hospital as well as a large collaborate project with Michigan Health and Hospital Association, which involved implementing lean thinking in 65 Emergency Rooms across the State. Tom's lean experience started with an assignment at NUMMI, the GM-Toyota joint venture, where he had the opportunity to live the Toyota (lean) way of thinking for two years. He has co-authored two books, Value Stream Management and Value Stream Management for the Lean Office.
   Tom holds an MBA from Western Michigan University and a BS from Michigan State Univ.

 

photo of David Verble, LTG partner   David Verble has applied his organizational development background to lean transformation implementation. He focuses on supporting executives and managers in assessment, planning and implementation for organizational change, operational performance improvement, lean initiatives and leadership development. While at Toyota's Kentucky operation he aided local American managers in understanding the overall Toyota management philosophy, system and practices.
   David holds an MS in Performance Technology and Instructional Systems Design from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's degree in eduction from the University of Tennessee.

 

photo of Judy Worth, LTG partner   Judy Worth focuses her consulting work on Lean implementation in health care and other office and service settings. She has extensive experience facilitating Value Stream Improvement projects and provides train-the-trainer for organizations wishing to develop a team of internal Lean facilitators.
   Judy holds an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's degree in English from Harding College.

photo of John Shook, LTG founding partner emeritus   John Shook is working as the Chairman and CEO of the Lean Enterprise Institute, a not-for-profit education, publishing, research, and conference organization whose mission is to advance Lean Thinking throughout the world.
John was an LTG founding partner, but is on hiatus from the fee-for-service consulting world until further notice. We wish him well in his current endeavors.
